Bobby Clark Transfer from Red Bull Salzburg to Swansea City

Daily Record reports on the halted transfer of Bobby Clark to Swansea City. Swansea City appeared to have won the signing race for Bobby Clark with a temporary deal initially agreed by his current club, Red Bull Salzburg. However, the deal was halted by Salzburg after they failed to add another midfielder before the window closed. Thomas Letsch stepped in to halt the deal amid concerns over squad depth, which capped off a 'disastrous' deadline day for the Austrian side.

Rangers reportedly want Salzburg's Bobby Clark before the deadline. Hull City and Swansea City are also pushing for a loan deal. Red Bull Salzburg's sports director Rouven Schroder stated that players who got less playing time in the autumn are looking for new chances.

Swansea City, Derby County, and Hull City, teams in the English Championship, are reportedly interested in arranging a loan deal for Bobby Clark. Clark had transferred to Red Bull Salzburg from Liverpool last summer in a deal worth £6 million. However, doubts persist regarding Salzburg's willingness to approve a loan exit this month, as the 19-year-old has had limited opportunities for regular game time under the new manager, Thomas Letsch, with most of his appearances being from the bench. Despite this uncertainty, British clubs are said to be intensifying their efforts to secure a temporary move for the midfielder.
