PSV has shown interest in acquiring Björn Meijer, a Jong Oranje international, in their pursuit of a new left-back. Meijer, who has recently come back from a serious knee injury, has yet to regain his starting position. His current contract with Club Brugge is set to expire in one and a half years, and the club seems open to entertaining a serious offer. Club Brugge had previously paid six million euros to FC Groningen for Meijer in 2022. Nonetheless, the interest from PSV is currently not concrete. As PSV looks to replace Matteo Dams and Fredrik Oppegard, who have recently departed the club, Meijer is a potential candidate but not the primary target. Anass Salah-Eddine is regarded as the main candidate, although FC Twente is preventing his transfer.
