Bilal Mazhar, a 21-year-old Egyptian forward, has officially joined Lamia after departing from Estrela Amadora. Previously, he played for Panathinaikos' B team and became a free agent when he and Estrela Amadora mutually decided to terminate his contract early. Although he had signed a two-year contract with Estrela, he only made one seven-minute appearance in the first half of the season. Lamia announced that Mazhar is their third signing of the transfer window, following the acquisitions of Sakor and Klonaridis. Mazhar, born on November 21, 2003, in France, had an impressive record with Panathinaikos' B team, where he scored 11 goals in 43 appearances. Furthermore, he was the top scorer in the Super League K19 with 21 goals during the 2021-2022 season and led the scoring in the UEFA Youth League the following year with 9 goals in 4 matches.
