Bilal El Khannouss Transfer from Leicester City to Arsenal
Arsenal are interested in signing Bilal El Khannouss at the end of the season. The club wants to submit an offer of around €35 million (£30m) for him. Arsenal rates him highly and believes he could become an important first-team player. The opportunity at Arsenal could provide him with a chance to stay in the top flight and compete in the Champions League, especially as Leicester are set to go down to the Championship.
Bilal El Khannouss is contemplating a departure from Leicester City should the club be relegated from the Premier League, as he is eager to maintain his career at the highest competitive level. Arsenal, along with other leading European clubs, has shown interest in the player. El Khannouss, who has a contract with Leicester until 2028, has a market value estimated at around thirty million euros. He transferred from KRC Genk to Leicester City last summer for approximately twenty million euros. With Leicester's relegation prospects looming, the Moroccan international appears reluctant to compete in the Championship and has reportedly drawn interest from clubs such as Arsenal, Lazio, and RB Leipzig. Even though his contract extends to 2028, it is expected that Leicester will request a substantial transfer fee. This season, El Khannouss has netted three goals and contributed three assists in 28 league matches, with his future largely hinging on Leicester's fight against relegation.
