According to Sky Sports Germany, Turkish Super Lig clubs, including Besiktas, are reportedly showing interest in acquiring Berkay Aslan during the next summer transfer window. These clubs are believed to be capable of offering financial terms that Augsburg might find challenging to compete with. Aslan, whose contract with Augsburg is set to expire in June 2025, is also said to be attracting attention from other European clubs such as Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven from the Netherlands, and Sevilla from Spain. Despite this interest, Augsburg is reportedly keen on negotiating a contract extension with Aslan, who is regarded as one of their most promising Under-19 talents and has been training with the first team under the guidance of coach Jess Thorup.
