Benjamin Sesko has renewed his contract with RB Leipzig. Despite the exit clause, he stays with the Saxons. His new contract is even valid until 2029.

The contract extension of Benjamin Sesko at RB Leipzig is fixed. The already running contract of the striker until 2028 will be extended by another year and the salary significantly adjusted. RB Leipzig also outbid lucrative offers from the Premier League. Sesko could have left Leipzig thanks to a success-dependent exit clause (up to 75 million euros). Arsenal, ManUnited and Liverpool wanted him. Even league competitor Borussia Dortmund was interested, plus a mega-offer from Saudi Arabia. The sheikhs offered up to 30 million euros a year.

Benjamin Šeško is reported to be concluding a new contract with improved conditions with current club Leipzig, despite interest from Chelsea and Arsenal. His current contract runs until 2028.

RB Leipzig can still rely on Benjamin Sesko (21) for at least one more season. Information from kicker matches reports from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and "Sky", according to which the attacker, currently being courted in the Premier League, is not making use of his 65 million euro exit clause, but is instead extending his contract, which is still valid until 2028 - presumably with improved benefits. However, the signature has not yet been made.
