Benjamin Sesko has a gentleman's agreement with RB Leipzig to facilitate an exit from the club next summer. He has renewed his contract with Leipzig until 2029, rejecting interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the process.

Sesko is wanted by both Arsenal and Chelsea, while Newcastle United have been linked with a swoop too. The two London clubs appear to be leading the race for Sesko’s signature. Chelsea have sent an offer to his representatives and are currently waiting for a response. The 22-year-old currently has a €65 million release clause inserted into his Leipzig contract, and he is expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit before the summer transfer window ends.

Arsenal wants to change their status next season and has set their sights on Benjamin Sesko, the player from RB Leipzig. "Sesko wants to become a great player", and this could go through the Emirates Stadium. "He is in favor of a transfer to Arsenal this summer. The RB Leipzig striker Sesko is courted by a multitude of clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, while Italy is also showing strong interest." The Gunners will however have to let go of 45 M£ or more than 52 M€. Mikel Arteta's team seems to have a lead in this case despite the strong competition.

The Slovenian forward is also on the radar of other big English clubs, including Chelsea. However, no specific details are provided regarding Chelsea's interest.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea are thought to be on the lookout for an elite striker - and Sesko fits the bill. He is a physical presence, acting as a target man, but is also agile and carries a good amount of pace for his size. His eye for goal is second to none.

Chelsea have made a 'concrete' approach to recruit Benjamin Sesko, according to German media. Leipzig had to agree to a €50 million release clause in Sesko's contract just to be able to beat the competition to his signature last summer and this means that the 20-year-old is relatively affordable this year.

Chelsea have been linked with Sesko. However, he is not a top target for them as they are keen on Victor Osimhen.
