Bartosz Slisz leaving Atlanta United?

Bartosz Slisz, who joined Atlanta United in January 2024 following a transfer from Legia Warszawa for 3.2 million euros, shared in an interview with TVP Sport that he had recently engaged in initial discussions with Kosta Runjaić about a possible move to Udinese Calcio. These discussions were characterized as preliminary and did not progress into advanced negotiations. Kosta Runjaić, familiar with Slisz from their period together at Legia Warszawa, reportedly showed interest in bringing Slisz to Udinese and spoke highly of him, indicating that he would be a good fit for Serie A.

Kosta Runjaić, the current coach of Udinese Calcio, expressed his belief that Bartosz Slisz would fit perfectly into Serie A due to his playing style. Runjaić, who previously worked with Slisz at Legia Warsaw, praised Slisz's work ethic, adaptability, and progress in technical and tactical aspects. Runjaić hopes to see Slisz return to Europe soon. Slisz is currently playing in MLS with Atlanta United, where he has made 40 appearances since his transfer.

The interest in Bartosz Slisz, another Polish player currently with Atlanta, seems to have waned, according to Messaggero Veneto.
