B. Drągowski Transfer from Spezia to Panathinaikos
Bartlomej Dragowski has officially transferred from Spezia to Panathinaikos.
Bartlomiej Dragowski has played for Panathinaikos on loan for the last six months. His performances, including 16 appearances and contributing to the Greek Cup victory, have convinced Panathinaikos to keep him. However, the transfer is being delayed due to agent commission issues and Panathinaikos's decision to lower the transfer fee to below 2 million euros.
Bartlomiej Dragowski, who arrived at Panathinaikos from Spezia in January, could be bought out by the Greek club despite not making it to Europe and the departure of coach Fatih Terim. According to the agreements made last winter, Panathinaikos has the option to buy out the Polish player's contract for 3.5 million euros, but according to the newspaper, they would only exercise it for 1.2 million, with the goalkeeper extending his current contract, which binds him to Spezia until 2025, by another year. This amount would allow Aquilotti not to create a loss in the budget. In his six months in Greece, Dragowski has made 16 appearances in the championship and national cup, managing to keep his goal intact on six occasions and conceding 19 goals.
Bartlomiej Dragowski, the Polish goalkeeper owned by Spezia, has been on loan to Panathinaikos since January. However, he has a slim chance of being bought by the Athens club, at least not at the agreed prices during the last transfer session, which is 3.5 million euros. The idea of confirming him still persists within the management of the Greek club but with a significant discount, despite a contract expiring in 2025 that would discourage the Aquilotto club from pursuing this path.
