Ayden Heaven Transfer from Arsenal U21 to Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund has contacted Ayden Heaven, an 18-year-old defender from Arsenal. His contract is set to expire in the summer. Heaven has had limited opportunities in Arsenal's first team due to the strong defensive duo of Gabriel and Saliba, and thus continues to play for the reserves. Dortmund has identified him as a primary target to bolster their central defense, especially after the injury of Niklas Süle.
Ayden Heaven is attracting attention from Borussia Dortmund, as well as other leading European clubs. With his contract set to expire next summer, Borussia Dortmund is keen on acquiring him. The young central defender is also being watched by several other clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Napoli, and Marseille. Heaven, who is regarded as one of the most promising talents in Arsenal’s academy, moved from West Ham United to Arsenal at the age of 13. He made his first senior appearance for Arsenal in a 3-0 victory over Preston North End in October 2024. Despite Arsenal's efforts to keep him, they are facing strong competition from these European powerhouses.
