Göztepe is interested in signing 22-year-old defender Atanas Chernev from Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv. Göztepe's officials are expected to make a move for the young defender. Göztepe has prepared to approach Botev Plovdiv to acquire Chernev, who has made 13 appearances for the Bulgarian U21 national team. Chernev's contract with Botev Plovdiv runs until 2025. It is expected that Göztepe will initially sign Chernev on loan with a purchase option before the new season.
