Assane Ndiaye has joined Cartagena on a contract lasting until the end of the season, with an option for a one-year extension. To facilitate the transfer, he ended his contract with Andorra. Ndiaye, a midfielder originating from Mallorca, has been recruited by Cartagena to bolster their midfield lineup. He developed his skills within the Balearic Islands' football system and had spells at Llosetense and Felanitx before his move to Extremadura in 2021, where he made his debut in the Primera RFEF. Following this, he became part of Atlético Madrid's B team, participating in over forty matches, before his transfer to FC Andorra, where he appeared in 17 matches during the current season prior to his transfer to Cartagena.
