Assad Al Hamlawi has transferred to Śląsk Wrocław from IK Oddevold in a cash deal. He has signed a contract with the Polish club that will be effective until June 30, 2027. The Swedish player with Palestinian roots, Al Hamlawi, previously played for Ängelholms, Helsingborgs, Jönköpings Södra, Varbergs BoIS, and Prime Bangkok. In the last season, he made 28 appearances in the Swedish second league, scoring 14 goals and providing one assist. Śląsk's sports director, Rafał Grodzicki, mentioned that strengthening the forward position was a priority for the club and that Al Hamlawi aligns with the club's philosophy as a determined and effective player.
