Artem Stepanov has extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2027. The young Ukrainian forward is considered a crucial player for the club's youth team, having shown exceptional development both athletically and in football terms. Bayer Leverkusen's sporting director, Simon Rolfes, and recruitment head, Kim Falkenberg, expressed their high regard for Stepanov, emphasizing the maturity and self-confidence he has gained through his performances in the Primavera league and UEFA Youth League. Stepanov, who has been called up to the first team several times this season, made his Champions League debut with Bayer Leverkusen in a match against Salzburg.
