Arnaud Nordin Transfer from Montpellier to FSV Mainz 05
FSV Mainz 05 is acquiring Arnaud Nordin for a fee of one million Euro. The French player, currently under contract with HSC Montpellier until the end of the season, will sign a contract with Mainz that extends until 2028. Mainz won the competition for Nordin's signature over Borussia Mönchengladbach, who were also interested in the 26-year-old winger. Mainz's sporting director Niko Bungert and head coach Bo Henriksen played key roles in convincing Nordin to join the club.
Arnaud Nordin seems to be close to signing with FSV Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga. Although there were earlier connections with Borussia Mönchengladbach, Mainz appears poised to finalize the deal. 'Le Parisien' mentioned that only the final details need to be sorted out with HSC Montpellier before completing the agreement. Fabrizio Romano indicated that the medical examination is planned to take place within the next 24 hours. Since Nordin's contract with the Ligue 1 club is due to expire in the summer, the transfer fee is anticipated to be modest. Nordin is a seasoned player with 198 Ligue 1 appearances, able to play on both wings.
