Despite his regular performances, he turned down a contract extension with Spezia, which would have prolonged his stay until June 2025. It is reported that Reca is on the radar of Lech Poznań, the current leader of Ekstraklasa, who are interested in signing him as a free agent after his contract expires. Spezia's sporting director, Stefano Melissano, indicated that they are open to negotiations whenever Reca is ready, although he has not requested a transfer yet.
