Antonio Tikvić has joined Watford from Udinese on loan. He will be playing in the English Championship to gain experience. Watford, which was relegated from the Premier League two years ago, is looking to strengthen its defense with the 195 cm tall center-back.
Antonio Tikvić, a 20-year-old Croatian U21 international, has officially transferred to Watford on a season-long loan from Udinese. Tikvić trained with Watford during the pre-season and played in friendly matches against Boreham Wood, Stevenage, and Gillingham.
The young Croatian defender, left-footed center-back, moves to the Championship side on a temporary basis for the next season. Watford has announced the loan signing from Udinese, a club under the Pozzo family.
