Antonio Raimondo leaving Bologna?
Venezia FC announces that forward Antonio Raimondo will return to Bologna FC 1909, the club that owns his rights, ending his loan early. He joined Venezia last summer and made a total of 10 appearances in both the league and Coppa Italia.
Antonio Raimondo, whose registration is owned by Bologna, might also leave Venezia in January.
Antonio Raimondo, currently playing for Venezia, is considering a change of club in January. He has been on loan from Bologna to gain experience, but his playing time has been limited, with the most significant being 45 minutes against Fiorentina. After nearly 40 appearances and 9 goals with Ternana last season, his new agent, Alessandro Lucci from the World Soccer Agency, may seek a new club where Raimondo can play more regularly.
Bologna is reluctant to lose control over Antonio Raimondo's card. The club prefers solutions that allow them to maintain some influence over his future, such as a loan with an option to buy and a counter-option.
