Antonio Palumbo Transfer from Modena to Sampdoria

Antonio Palumbo, born in 1996, was the primary target for Sampdoria to strengthen their squad. Modena has resisted initial offers, but Sampdoria might make a last-minute attempt to convince Modena to sell the player.

Sampdoria is interested in acquiring Antonio Palumbo, a midfielder born in 1996, currently playing for Modena. However, Modena has rejected Sampdoria's initial offer, considering Palumbo crucial for the second half of the season. Modena's management is resisting Sampdoria's attempts, especially for a January transfer, and the negotiations are at a critical point. An agreement needs to be reached quickly, or the transfer might fall through.

Sampdoria is targeting the signing of Antonio Palumbo from Modena. Palumbo, who has a history with Sampdoria having been under contract with them for five years, played only briefly during his tenure, notably in a match held in Florence. He was originally acquired by Sampdoria in the summer of 2016 for a fee of 700,000 euros. Sampdoria has put forward an offer of 1.5 million euros, which Modena has turned down. Furthermore, an agreement with the player's agent, Giampiero Pocetta, has not been reached. Palumbo is regarded as one of the top midfielders in Serie B, making him a key target for Sampdoria as they seek to strengthen their midfield.
