Italian defender Antonio Candela has joined Real Valladolid on loan from Venezia until the end of the season. The 24-year-old right-back has featured in 14 Serie A matches this season, accumulating over a thousand minutes on the field. Candela's career includes stints with Genoa's reserve team, Olbia Calcio 1905, Cesena, and Pergolettese 1932. He has been part of Venezia since the 2022-23 season, where he scored three goals and contributed to the team's promotion to Serie A. Candela is set to be introduced alongside fellow new signings Nikitscher, Aidoo, and Aznou at the José Zorrilla stadium.
