Anthony Patterson Transfer from Sunderland to Manchester United

Manchester United are monitoring Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson as they search for a new backup goalkeeper. The club is interested in a young player to serve as understudy to Andre Onana, and the 24-year-old Patterson is a strong candidate. Former goalkeeper Tony Coton, who now works as United’s goalkeeper scout, is evaluating the Black Cats star, as he meets all their criteria. Sunderland values Patterson at approximately £20 million, although they might accept a lower offer. The club is reluctant to let him go this season as they aim for promotion, making a transfer in the summer more plausible.
