Ansu Fati Transfer from FC Barcelona to Como
Cesc Fabregas, head coach of Como, wants to bring Ansu Fati to the club as a reinforcement to fight for survival in Serie A and avoid relegation. Mundo Deportivo reports that Como is considering establishing a market connection with Barcelona for this transfer.
Como is reportedly targeting Ansu Fati from Barcelona as part of their ambitious winter transfer window plans. The Catalan newspaper El Nacional suggested that Como is evaluating the possibility of bringing the young Spanish talent, born in 2002, to Italy. The transfer is considered complex due to high costs and the player's prestige. However, limited playing time at Barcelona this season might lead the club to consider a temporary loan move. Barcelona reportedly views a loan experience positively for Fati, as he could benefit from the football philosophy of Cesc Fabregas at Como. Ansu Fati has only played 186 minutes over 8 appearances for Barcelona this season, without scoring goals or providing assists. Barcelona's coach, Hansi Flick, has not ruled out a temporary departure for Fati and mentioned that he would respond honestly to any request from the player.
Como is expressing interest in Ansu Fati, the former Barcelona wonder boy who was once seen as the new Messi. Ansu Fati, of Guinean descent, made his debut with Barcelona in 2019 at the age of sixteen. He took over Lionel Messi's number 10 jersey in 2021 following Messi's departure to Paris Saint Germain. With injuries and being perceived as a burden, Ansu Fati's performance has come under scrutiny after 36 games and 7 goals at the age of twenty-one. Como is keen on acquiring him after his stint at Brighton.
