During a press conference, he mentioned that his current focus is on the upcoming finals in the Brasileirão and the Sul-Americana. Romero's contract has a clause for automatic renewal if he participates for at least 45 minutes in 60% of the matches in 2024. Nevertheless, he retains the option to explore new opportunities if he decides to do so.
