Andy Delort, who is currently with MC Alger, is being considered by Montpellier for a potential return. Delort, having moved from Montpellier to Nice in the summer of 2021, has expressed openness to the possibility of returning to assist Montpellier in avoiding relegation. Negotiations are in progress to finalize an agreement with the Algerian champions. L'Equipe has reported that Montpellier is close to finalizing the sale of Akor Adams to Sevilla FC for 5.5 million euros, indicating their intention to recruit a new striker during the winter transfer window. At 33 years old, Delort departed Montpellier on unfavorable terms but is reportedly not against the idea of returning to support Montpellier HSC in their fight against relegation.
