Rot-Weiß Erfurt announced that captain Andrej Startsev will be leaving the club. He decided against the new offer from RWE. The club's boss Franz Gerber stated that Andrej was an important player for them over the past four years and they would have liked to keep him but respect his decision to change clubs.
