Andreas Weimann has signed a contract with Blackburn Rovers until summer 2025. He is the first Austrian player at the club. Weimann has previously spent nine years in the English second division, playing for clubs such as West Bromwich, Bristol City, Derby County, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Watford. He also played for Aston Villa in the Premier League from 2010 to 2015.
