Rot-Weiss Essen is reportedly showing interest in acquiring André Becker from Arminia Bielefeld. The club is said to be in intensive discussions with the 28-year-old player. It is noted that the sporting director, Marcus Steegmann, is familiar with Becker from their previous collaboration at Viktoria Köln. Becker was brought in to replace the club icon Fabian Klos in the attack at Arminia Bielefeld, a move that has only been partially successful as he has yet to score in the league. However, he has demonstrated his abilities in the DFB-Pokal and Landespokal competitions. Becker's contract with Bielefeld is valid until 2026.
