Anatoliy Trubin Transfer from Benfica to Manchester City
Anatoliy Trubin has been praised for his performance at Euro 2024, with English sources suggesting he would be a good fit for a move to the Premier League. Manchester City is specifically mentioned as a club that should follow him.
Anatoliy Trubin, a 22-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper, who is the mainstay of Benfica and also a key figure in his national team, has been marked by Manchester City for a possible signing, according to the Ukrainians from Sportarena. The goalkeeper is being considered for his good debut season at Benfica, in which he played 48 games, and also in goal for Ukraine – on Monday, June 3, he was instrumental in holding the 0-0 in a friendly with Germany; he was even considered by most fans the best player on the field. The Ukrainian publication only advances with City's interest, but adds that Trubin is on the list of several other important clubs and not just from the Premier League, who failed to sign him at the beginning of 2023/2024 because Benfica anticipated and secured the player from Shakthar, for €10 million, plus a possible €1 million in bonuses. Trubin signed for the eagles until 2028 and was left with a termination clause of €100 million.
