Amer Gojak is the new player of HNK Rijeka. This 27-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year contract with our club after previously terminating his obligation with Hungarian Ferencváros.

Amer Gojak has become a free agent and could decide to return to Croatian football by the end of the transfer window on September 5. Several Croatian clubs are interested in him, and now that he is a free agent, discussions could become more concrete.

Amer Gojak, Bosnian international and former Dinamo player, was sidelined for a good part of the last season at Hungarian club Ferencvaros. Former coach Dejan Stankovic removed him from the squad, and he spent the rest of the season in the stands. With the change in coaching staff, Pascal Jansen replaced Stankovic, and Gojak was given a chance during the pre-season preparations. Despite performing well initially, the club informed him upon returning to Budapest that he is not in their long-term plans and can seek a new club.
