Alvyn Sanches Transfer from Lausanne Sport to Leeds United
Alvyn Sanches has been linked with a move to Celtic, but interest from the summer is unlikely to continue. Leeds are now said to be interested in Sanches, with Lausanne-Sport confident of raking in upwards of £7m from any deal.
Daniel Farke, the manager of Leeds United, has shown interest in acquiring Alvyn Sanches from Lausanne Sport during the January transfer window. Stephane Henchoz, the technical director at Lausanne Sport, stated that the club would do everything possible to retain Sanches, but they understand that he will eventually move to a major league. Henchoz indicated their openness to selling Sanches at a fair price if an appropriate offer arises in January that satisfies both the club and the player. Nonetheless, Henchoz remains hopeful that Sanches is inclined to complete the season with Lausanne Sport.
Leeds United is reportedly interested in acquiring Alvyn Sanches, a 21-year-old midfielder from Lausanne-Sport. It is understood that the Swiss club is open to letting him leave in the summer unless they receive a top offer in January. The player's price is estimated to be between 7.5 and 9 million euros. Sanches is said to prefer a summer move to ensure better integration into his new club. There is a 'pact' between Lausanne-Sport and Sanches that he will only depart in January if an irresistible offer comes through. Stéphane Henchoz, a former advisor at Lausanne, reportedly mentioned that the club would do everything possible to retain him. Sanches' market value is currently around 4 million euros, which makes him unattainable for Swiss top clubs such as FC Basel. Le Matin has predicted that a sum between 7.5 to 9 million euros will be necessary to secure his transfer, possibly including an option to loan him back to Lausanne.
Alvyn Sanches, who currently plays for Lausanne, has suggested that he is looking to transfer to a new club after the season concludes. Leeds United have demonstrated interest in him, especially last summer. Sanches has shared his career plan, which includes transferring to an intermediate club as a step towards reaching a higher level. Despite being valued at just €4m, a price that aligns with Leeds' budget, Sanches plans to complete the current season at Lausanne before considering a move. Leeds' interest might diminish if they achieve promotion, as Sanches perceives Leeds as a stepping stone in his career path.
