Aljoscha Kemlein Transfer from FC Union Berlin to St. Pauli
The transfer deal for Aljoscha Kemlein to be loaned again to St. Pauli was almost completed but fell through at the last moment. The decision not to proceed with the loan left St. Pauli's manager Andreas Bornemann frustrated. In the previous season, Kemlein had a successful loan spell with St. Pauli, helping them get promoted to the Bundesliga as a regular starter.
St. Pauli has shown interest in bringing back Aljoscha Kemlein, who was on loan with the club during the latter half of the 2024 season and made 18 appearances. Union Berlin president Dirk Zingler mentioned that St. Pauli would need to present a concrete offer if they are genuinely interested in acquiring Kemlein. St. Pauli coach Alexander Blessin conveyed his interest in the player, while also expressing criticism towards Zingler for not selling Kemlein despite not giving him playing time.
A successful loan spell at St. Pauli has sparked interest in either a renewed loan or a permanent transfer. Aljoscha Kemlein has played in all 16 second-half season games. A permanent transfer could cost up to 2 million Euros.
