Alexis Sánchez leaving Udinese?
Alexis Sanchez has clarified on his Instagram stories that he has no ongoing discussions with any team in Chile. He stated, 'I want to clarify that I have no dialogue with any team in Chile, all this information I don't know where it comes from.' He emphasized that he is in perfect condition and decisions about playing are technical, not his own. He also mentioned, 'If I were to return to Chile, to the team my dad loved (who is watching me from above in heaven), I would be the first to say it.'
Alexis Sanchez is considering terminating his contract with Udinese, which expires on June 30, 2026, to return to South America. He is tempted by Universidad del Chile, a club he supported as a child, as reported by Messaggero Veneto.
In the last summer transfer window, Alexis Sanchez was approached again by Olympique de Marseille, a club where he had impressed during the 2022-23 season with 18 goals in 44 appearances across all competitions. He was a free agent after his contract with Inter Milan ended, and despite interest from Marseille, he surprised everyone by returning to Udinese, a club he had previously played for between 2006 and 2011.
