Alexandru Tîrlea, a defender who developed his skills at the Real Madrid academy, has been officially signed by CFR Cluj. He joined the team from Gruia and was introduced through a video posted on social media. The transfer was initially announced by Ioan Varga, the owner of the Ardeleni. Alex Tîrlea expressed his happiness about joining the club, saying that he was glad to be part of the CFR family and cheering for the team. Born in Spain, Tîrlea began his career at Real Madrid, spending a decade there before moving to RM Castilla and being loaned to Salamanca in 2019. In 2020, he transferred freely to Alaves B and two years later, he joined Gimnastic de Tarragona, where he remained until this winter.
