Alexandre Phliponeau, despite being a promising player at OM, never really had his chance in Marseille. After his departure from Marseille, he had a stint with Sète in National (27 matches, 1 goal, 1 assist) and then Annecy (11 L2 matches), before joining Concarneau at the start of the last season. Despite Concarneau's relegation, Phliponeau was one of the most consistent players in Ligue 2 (31 matches, 2 assists). Following the relegation, the 24-year-old former Marseillais is now free to sign wherever he wants. Top L2 clubs and a Ligue 1 club have already shown interest in the player who has already played more than fifty matches with the pros.
