Alex Sandro Transfer from Juventus to São Paulo
Alex Sandro leaves Juventus after nine seasons and enters the transfer market as a free agent. He might return to Brazil after 13 years since leaving Santos. He is currently in talks with São Paulo for a transfer with no transfer fee.
Alex Sandro is on the radar of São Paulo to return to Brazilian football at a zero cost. His contract with Juventus ends on June 30 and he has already started preliminary discussions with Rui Costa, the sporting director of the São Paulo emblem, to assess the viability of the club's sports project. Playing in Europe since 2011, the Brazilian international is interested in returning to his home country, however, he has already highlighted that a possible change will only happen if he is presented with a contract for more than one year and a good salary proposal.
Alex Sandro, who has been with Juventus since 2015, is nearing the end of his contract. He has been linked to São Paulo due to an Instagram story from his brother. São Paulo is currently looking for a player for the left-back position, as they lost Caio Paulista, their starting left-back last season. Another option for the position, Welington, is recovering from an ankle ligament injury. As Alex Sandro is in the last six months of his contract with Juventus, São Paulo could potentially sign a pre-contract agreement with him.
