Although he considers Real Sociedad a mid-tier club, Kuzmichev acknowledged his potential bias. Since making his first-team debut for Lokomotiv in March of the previous year, Batrakov has been a standout performer this season, netting 11 goals and registering eight assists in 23 matches across the Russian Premier League and the Fonbet Russian Cup, making him Lokomotiv's top scorer and leading assist provider.
