Alberto Simoni, a 28-year-old forward, is poised to return to Makedonikos after spending a few months at Lamia. Having transferred to Lamia in the summer, he is now heading back to the familiar territory of Makedonikos, a team in the Super League 2. Last season, Simoni emerged as the top scorer in the Northern Group of the second division. He has come to an agreement with the club from Nea Efkarpia because of his limited playing time at Lamia. Official announcements are anticipated soon. In his previous tenure with Makedonikos, Simoni had scored 20 goals and provided six assists over 56 appearances.
