Akim Zedadka has joined Piast Gliwice from Lille without any transfer fee. He signed a contract until the end of the current season, with an option to extend for an additional season. Zedadka is a former player of Clermont Foot, Lille, Auxerre, Lens, and Real Zaragoza. He has played 66 matches in Ligue 1 and has one appearance for the Algerian national team.

Akim Zedadka was released from his contract with LOSC six months before its end. After an underwhelming stint at the club, where he played only 12 matches and scored one goal, Zedadka sought new opportunities. He had been loaned to Auxerre and Real Saragosse in the previous season and mostly played with LOSC's reserve team this season. The Algerian international, with one cap to his name, has now signed with Piast Gliwice, currently 11th in the Polish championship.
