Ajdin Hrustić Transfer from Hellas Verona to Salernitana

The player has been transferred to Salernitana on a permanent basis until June 30, 2025, with an automatic renewal for another season under certain conditions. He has chosen to wear the number 8 jersey.

Hrustic, a midfielder born in '96, can play various roles between midfield and the attacking midfield. The Australian is coming off a season in the Eredivisie with Heracles Almelo, where he played 14 games and scored one goal. He could move down a category for the first time, after six appearances with Hellas in Serie A, to strengthen an ambitious club like Salernitana.

Ajdin Hrustic is poised to join Salernitana, where he would team up with Braaf and Kallon. The transfer is not connected to the Daniliuc situation. Hellas Verona is set to release Hrustic, and Salernitana will register him for free, only covering his salary. Hrustic had been associated with Salernitana a year ago and was on De Sanctis' radar prior to Legowski's arrival. The Australian midfielder is coming off a season with Heracles Almelo in Eredivisie, where he featured in 14 games and netted one goal. He boasts international experience with 81 appearances (six goals) in Eredivisie, 34 appearances (three goals) in Bundesliga with Schalke 04, and 27 appearances (four goals) with the Australian national team.

After spending a loan period at Heracles Almelo in the Netherlands, it appears that Ajdin Hrustic's future lies away from Verona. Sky Sport has reported that negotiations with Salernitana are currently in progress, with the transfer fee being set at 500,000 euros. Should the deal be finalized, the Australian midfielder will join Braaf and Kallon at Salernitana. This move is said to be independent of the Daniliuc situation. Salernitana is expected to surpass Palermo in their pursuit of the player.
