At the Porto Alegre club, the Uruguayan will meet two old acquaintances from the Bundesliga. Former Eintracht Frankfurt players Lucas Alario and Rafael Borré have been playing together for the 2007 FIFA Club World Cup champion since 2023.

Argentinian club Estudiantes de La Plata intends to hold talks with Hertha BSC next week to bring back Agustin Rogel, who no longer plays a role in Berlin despite having a contract until 2026.
