Palmeiras has officially acquired Argentine defender Agustin Giay from San Lorenzo. He has signed a contract until June 30, 2029, and will be eligible to debut in mid-July after the opening of the transfer window. Giay can play both as a right-back and a midfielder. Palmeiras decided to purchase him after observing his performances in this year's Libertadores: 1-1 in Buenos Aires, 0-0 in Rio De Janeiro.
