Adel Taarabt has joined Al Sharjah just a few days after terminating his contract with Al Nasr. He was with Al Nasr since the summer of 2022, having left Benfica on a free transfer. During his time at Al Nasr, he scored 31 goals and provided 15 assists in 75 games across two and a half seasons. Taarabt, a 35-year-old Moroccan, will continue to play in the UAE league, moving from the fifth-placed team to the provisional leader.
