Adama Soumaoro: Bologna Contract Extension
Adama Soumaoro's contract with Bologna is expiring on June 30 and will not be renewed, hence ending his time with the club after three and a half years. Soumaoro, who will soon be 32, arrived at Bologna in the winter market of 2021 from Lille and has also had a good spell at Genoa in Italy. Unfortunately, a serious injury to the patellar tendon of his right knee in May 2023 prevented him from being useful in the last season, despite some training with his teammates in the last month. It is now too late to convince Sartori and Di Vaio. After his time with Genoa and Bologna and over 100 appearances with Lille, Soumaoro will soon embark on a new adventure.
Adama Soumaoro's renewal is far off, as he has not yet returned to the field after the injury.
