Achraf Hakimi: Paris Saint Germain Contract Extension

Achraf Hakimi is set to extend his contract with PSG for three more seasons, as reported by MD since October. His contract, initially ending in June 2026, is now extended until June 2029. The renewal includes a significant salary increase from around 10 million euros net per season to approximately 14 million euros net. This likely makes him the highest-paid right-back in the world. Hakimi is a key player for PSG, being one of the team captains and considered indispensable by coach Luis Enrique.

Achraf Hakimi, who plays as a right-back for PSG and is a former player for Inter, has opted to extend his contract until 2029. As reported by L'Equipe, the 26-year-old informed the club of his decision a few days prior, affirming his commitment to remain in the French capital for an additional 5 years. This season, he has played in 13 matches, comprising 9 in Ligue 1 and 4 in the Champions League, all as a starter, and has scored 2 goals.

PSG has initiated the first conversations with Achraf Hakimi to extend his contract until beyond June 2026. Hakimi, who has been named the second captain of the team, is not planning to leave Paris.
