Abner Vinicius (24) joined Lyon from Real Betis for eight million euros. He signed a contract until 2029. Real Betis will receive 20% of any future transfer fee.

Abner Vinicius, who has been with Betis for a year and a half, will leave this summer to try his luck in French football. The transfer, which was announced a few months ago, is a new agreement negotiated between the French club and Betis. The transfer will close at around eight million euros and Betis will receive four million euros, having purchased 50% of the player's card. This follows the failed plan that started when Álex Moreno left for Aston Villa in the winter of the previous campaign. The choice of the sports management led by Antonio Cordón was the young footballer who played in Atlético Paranaense. The expected performance did not arrive in this campaign and a half and the Betis club manages at least to minimize its economic bet with a goodbye that Manuel Pellegrini is already aware of.

Abner, the left back from Real Betis, is expected to replace Henrique in Olympique Lyonnais. The transfer is reportedly agreed upon and should be official after the club's appearance before the DNCG. He should be present in Lyon for the next season.
