Abdukodir Khusanov Transfer from Lens to Paris Saint Germain

The club RC Lens has mandated agent Jorge Mendes to find a destination for Abdukhodir Kusanov. RC Lens aims to receive between 25 and 30 million euros for him. He is reportedly liked by important clubs such as PSG, Manchester City, Tottenham, and RB Leipzig.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly interested in acquiring Lens defender Abdukodir Khusanov. The reigning Ligue 1 champions are addressing potential defensive gaps due to possible departures and injuries among their current center-backs, such as Milan Skriniar, Presnel Kimpembe, and Lucas Hernandez. PSG are in search of younger defensive options and have expressed interest in Khusanov, who is valued at €5 million and has a contract until June 2027, with an annual salary of €140k. Luis Campos, PSG's advisor, has given his approval for Khusanov's potential signing, viewing it as part of the club's long-term strategy to strengthen their defense with younger talents.

Luis Campos, in his search for a central defender for the upcoming winter transfer window, has shown appreciation for Abdukodir Khusanov's profile. It was reported that Campos had already met with the player's entourage, though no official offer had been made yet. Khusanov, contracted with RC Lens until June 2027, is considered to be more affordable than another winter target, Benfica's defender Tomas Araujo, who the Lisbon club reportedly deems non-transferable. Despite RC Lens reportedly labeling Khusanov as non-transferable for January, he is valued at around 20 million euros and is coveted by PSG, among other clubs.
