Baník Ostrawa is considering the sale of Abdullahi Tanko during the winter transfer window. The club is offering the player as part of a deal to Slovácko. Tanko, a 26-year-old forward from Nigeria, became part of Baník Ostrawa in the summer of 2023 following a standout season with FK Varnsdorf, where he netted 17 goals and made four assists in 33 matches. Although he began promisingly, his involvement at Baník has decreased this season, having scored only once in 17 appearances. Consequently, Baník is contemplating using him as a trade asset, with Slovácko showing interest along with other teams in the Czech league.
